9/30 5th Annual Northwest New Jersey Rivers Conference

Registration is now open for the 2023 Northwest New Jersey Rivers Conference!

Join us and our partners in the Delaware River Watershed Initiative for the Fifth Annual Northwest New Jersey Rivers Conference on September 30 from 8:30am to 4:30pm in the Lackland Center at Centenary University in Hackettstown.

The Northwest New Jersey Rivers Conference is the only forum for understanding the relationship between our region’s water and other natural and cultural resources and the quality of life for those who live in and visit its waters, open spaces and businesses. The Conference focuses its conversations on enhancing water quality, developing a vibrant ecotourism economy, expanding recreational opportunities, and appreciating the scenic values of the Upper Delaware River watershed.

The theme for the 2023 Conference is Open Space and Recreation.

On the 25th anniversary of the Governor’s Report on the New Jersey Outdoors, this year’s conference revisits New Jersey’s commitment to preserving 1 million acres of public open space and finding a stable source of funding for its stewardship. The Conference includes 12 workshops organized into four tracks including The Latest Trends in Planning, Challenges and Opportunities, Recreation and Equal Access and History.

Registration is now open for vendor tables and participants. Tickets will also be available for purchase in-person at the door. Early bird discounts are available until July 17. Sponsorships are available for those unable to afford the cost.

Tickets and information are available at NorthwestNewJerseyRivers.org.
