9th Annual Highlands Art Exhibit

Come celebrate the allure of the Highlands region’s diverse landscapes, flora, and fauna at our Ninth Annual Juried Art Exhibit, held in conjunction with Farmstead Arts at The Farmstead Arts Center in Basking Ridge.

Advocates of Natural Beauty: An invitational art exhibit featuring the Highlands will feature a mix of photography, oil and watercolor paintings as diverse as the Highlands themselves. The art will focus on the landscapes, flora, fauna, and historic and cultural resources of the four-state Highlands Region, which includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. The exhibit will be open to the public from January 8 to February 26 (visit highlandsart.org for visiting hours). A public reception will be held to honor the artists on Friday, January 13, from 5:30 to 8:30. Refreshments will be served.

Artists included in this year’s exhibit are:

Mitchell Brozinsky, Jared Clackner, Nat Clymer, Donna Compton, Janet Cunniffe-Chieffo, Mark de Mos, Ellen Denuto, Charles Dexter, Todd Doney, Edward Fausty, Kathleen Fonseca, Bruce Frazier, Valarie Golden, Laurie Harden, Dwight Hiscano, Joe Kazimierczyk, Phil Marzo, Pieter Prall, Mitchell Rosenzweig, Elliott Ruga, Val Sivilli, Kathleen Thompson, Ed Turton and Miroslav Vrzala.
